Overview

"This project explores the planning and implementation of a theatre curriculum designed to serve English language learners and all students. The curriculum adapts and includes Sheltered English Immersion strategies and Sheltered Content instruction within the theatre classroom, using Playmaking and Devising exercises in hybrid and concurrent learning models. Due to the structured supports and equitable access to the playmaking process, throughout the project engagement increased; as did the sense of classroom community across a number of student groups with varying demographics in this Worcester public school." -- Abstract
