Overview

"This film is a short personal essay about my struggle with facing a dual diagnosis of Treatment Resistant Depression and a relapse in addiction to opiates while living through my greatest fear: a global pandemic. My opiate addiction had receded to a point of no longer being an issue in my day to day life. However, when the deaths of several close friends of mine coincided with the start of the covid-19 pandemic, I relapsed and started using again. Through voiceover, old family footage, and recently captured footage (both on vhs and on a BlackMagic Pocket cinema) this film tells the story of my own perfect storm" -- Abstract
