Walls, 2021
"Walls is a coming-of-age short film that follows a little girl into the suffocating, traumatic, and desperate situation of domestic abuse. While the film delves into the world of fantasy through television and drawing; at its core it is not a store of fantasy. The underlying themes of escapism emphasize the inability to escape in such a world. Even the fantasies are tainted and infused with sorrow. The only true escape is that of withdrawal through one's own mind." -- Abstract
