From the Series:

The series contains Master's theses from 1943 to present. The theses consist of either a production book and a media component or solely a production book. The production books were originally submitted as physical bound copies, but were later submitted digitally. The physical production books are stored offsite and the digital production books are stored in the College's preservation repository.

The media components consist of U-matic tapes, VHS tapes, CDs, DVDs, and Blu-rays and changed to digital submissions in 2020. There are also a handful of audiocassette tapes and one USB. The media components are stored onsite at the Archives.

Overview

Holly Mello passed away on January 31, 2023, and received her degree posthumously. Her thesis media component was submitted to the Archives by the Office of Graduates Studies but did not include her production book. Short film on gender inequality in climbing and the perception of women climbers. Kristin Re and Kelsey Confreda, co-founders of the Ladies Climbing Coalition, a non-profit organization whose mission "...is to connect and empower all women and non-binary people who are comfortable in spaces that center the experiences of women through climbing. We are dedicated to breaking down barriers to entry – access, opportunity, cost," discuss their experiences and how gender inequality impacts women and non-binary climbers.
