Overview

"Azimuth is a feature-length film written with theatrical distribution in mind. It is conceived to feature a diverse cast of heroes/protagonists within a story designed to examine themes of duty, anti-fascism, and chosen family. The setting is the eponymous fictional moon Azimuth, the last stop in a galaxy where a fascist government enforces violent control. The story follows a long-separated couple and their compatriots as they contend with whether to stay and fight the forces of evil or escape to a new galaxy for a new life. This is meant to be a wholly fictional galaxy as opposed to a vision of our galaxy's far-off future but still aimed to evoke real-world conflicts as a great deal of science fiction does." -- Abstract
