Overview
"JOHANNA VAN GOGH is a TV Pilot inspired by the true story of the woman who saved Vincent van Gogh's legacy – the story behind the story of the two brothers. Primarily set in Paris in 1891, following the tragic death of Theo only six-months after Vincent, this historical drama follows his grief-stricken widow Johanna and one-year-old son; the sole heirs to hundreds of Vincent's paintings. Designed for streaming platforms as a limited series, JOHANNA VAN GOGH attempts to reveal the events that rescued Vincent's art from possible destruction and began building the legend of the family Van Gogh." -- Abstract
