Overview

"Last Dream In Town is a feature-length screenplay about the role that art plays in the lives of people in rural United States and society at large. This independent drama follows a young grieving bartender who has abandoned her passions, supporting herself financially after the sudden death of her best friend. Eccentrics abound in her small Texas town, and soon she becomes immersed in the lives of radical, anti-technology artists seeking to change the world. Egos clash, music is made, and small screens are smashed with sledgehammers. Last Dream In Town maps the belated birth of a scrappy, independent artist - determined to find her own way to escape the suffocating anxieties of this current moment in time." -- Abstract
