Overview

"From the perspective of the fictious independent, science fiction and fantasy publisher, Golden Birch Press, this master's project presents the evolution of a manuscript being prepared for publication. The fantasy novel undertaken by Golden Birch Press is entitled, 'The Light Bearer' by Roman Baker. Beginning with acquiring the title to determining manufacturing and financial details, this project shows the steps the founder and editor, Chandler Wilson, took to adapt this manuscript into a competitive title among the popular speculative fiction genre. Found in this project are the necessary documents, research, financial planning, marketing strategy, and jacket and interior designs needed to mass produce this novel for the press's target audience." -- Abstract
