Overview

"Declan Colón Mayhew desperately needs divine intervention. It's not because he's a junior without a real plan for life after college. It has nothing to do with the fact that he's not over his secret ex, a boy whose gentle love Declan doesn't think he deserves. It might not even be because he's not sure what happened last summer, with his mother's broken body and the murder weapon in his hand. Rather, it's because of the death-drenched reoccurring nightmares that lead to him waking up covered in blood that doesn't belong to him. Unsure of how or why this is happening, Declan convinces himself that he's a danger to those around him. And after his best friend's girlfriend goes missing and he finds her necklace in one of his pockets, Declan isn't so sure he can carry the title of innocent any longer." -- Abstract
