Overview

"Home of the Cuckoos' is a family saga novel exploring the themes of generational trauma, female autonomy, and agency. Sarah returns to her small hometown after the death of the family matriarch. What starts as the misguided attempt to save the family homestead turns into a search for answers. Buried deep underneath the hard exterior of the Doyle women is a pain that has never healed, and the belief they are all cursed. With nothing left to lose, Sarah is willing to dig deeper into the past no matter who it hurts. The ultimate question is whether the knowledge she gains is worth it in the end." -- Abstract
