Overview
"'Missing in Midtown' is a collection of stories exploring the heart of every man and woman. The arguments, battles, estrangements, thefts, and moments of brutality within the narratives reflect the burden of humanity. In the collection's shared setting, a select few represent the wounded whole. Everyone has lost a part of themselves in Middleton, a worn-out city of rust. Conflicts sit unresolved, pain is hidden from the naked eye, hearts are broken with no chance of mending and separations are aggravated, splitting families further apart. Everyone is missing a part of themselves, but what we find in the collection is the truth of our hurt and how we can finally heal it when the pain's confronted." -- Abstract
