Overview
"This thesis is a collection of fictional stories linking together the brokenheartedness of locational displacement. The stories closely follow characters toggling back and forth between a past they once knew and a present they will never belong to. These stories explore central themes of the American Dream concerning Caribbean migration, isolation, and assimilation, all present in the landscape that is the American society." -- Abstract
