"This thesis analyzes a project that developed three short new plays which were solicited from local playwrights and centered on themes of social justice. Many processes exist for developing new plays. This project focused on a process which I have used professionally which combines multiple readings followed by moderated discussions. The discussions were based on a set of guidelines for comparing similarities in plays with themes of social justice." -- Abstract
