Overview

"When twenty-year-old Anne strikes a deal with a dragon named Bael, it doesn't end in the happily ever after like the fairy tales suggest. For the past 200 years, she has been trapped in Ironhart Manor, which sits at the center of the faeries' forest, inhabited by dangerous and deceitful creatures, including the dragon who imprisoned her. Anne must become a beast herself in order to finally escape her prison, and so another human is lured to Ironhart Manor. Anne strikes a deal with the human, Kara, and the cycle continues. As the two humans are forced to work together, their icy feelings turn into fiery passion that burns through every lie casting the manor in mysterious shadows. But trouble is brewing across both the faery forest and the human city, and so Anne and Kara must find the truth themselves, even if that truth proves to destroy them." -- Abstract
