Overview

"In a city where magic has been outlawed for centuries, Yira performs at The White Moth, a theater where those who still practice magic share their gifts under the disguise of illusion. Protecting themselves behind unused trap doors and pulleys, they live an enchanting life of dancing fire, spellbinding melodies, and secrets that would make even the moon blush. But there are two rules that must never be broken. Never perform magic outside of The White Moth and never fall in love. Yira finally has has everything she has ever desired, and yet, she can't help wanting more. When Theo Harling, the theater's wealthiest patron, offers Yira an invitation into a world of money and influence, she finds it impossible to resist, even if it endangers everyone and everything she cares about. The Night Circus meets Nettle & Bone in this spellbinding fantasy novel about identity, transformation, and power." -- Abstract
