Overview

"Gretchen Almsay is a very practical young woman. When her sister, Isabel, runs away to the Fated Forest it puts the entire family at risk of finincial ruin, and their family has suffered enough. Tasked with retrieving her sister Gretchen sets off with singleminded determination. The only problem is, The Fated Forest has other ideas about Gretchen's reasons for being there. Inappropriate unicorns, unhelpful guides, monsters, and traps all conspire to keep Gretchen from her sister, and maybe teach her something about herself along the way." -- Abstract
