Overview

"My novel A Fire Of Burning Ice is Romeo & Juliet reimagined as a sapphic enemies-to- lovers Romantasy in a world of dragons, magic, and dangerous truths. Told through dual Point of View chapters between the two main characters Raena Fyeur and Khestri Atwater, this story follows the two women's journey of self-discovery and a fight for freedom. Within the Fantasy and Romance genres, there is an extreme lack of lesbian representation, and that is why I chose to write this story. With themes of good vs. evil, social inequity, rebellion, love, identity & self-discovery, I sought to share a beautiful tale of two women overcoming their animosity for one another to save their people while simultaneously falling in love." -- Abstract
