Overview

"World Breaker is an adult high fantasy multi-POV novel by Marleigh Green. It follows two central characters; Delphine, a woman with amnesia, as she navigates the Imani Empire and dodges violent enemies in an effort to regain her memories; and Alder, a soldier for the Imani Empire who feels an inexplicably powerful emotional connection to Delphine, as if he knew her in a past life. As they journey to Lilistadt, the capital of Imani, they are hunted by an enemy of Delphine's known as the Shadow King, and they soon discover that Delphine possesses the power of an apocalypse god. She can control minds and go toe-to-toe with other gods. In their quest to discover her past, Delphine and Alder fall for each other, despite Alder's mortality and Delphine's memory loss. In the end, they discover that Delphine was never being hunted by the Shadow King; Delphine is the Shadow King." --Abstract
