Overview
"My Married Friends is a TV pilot inspired by the experiences of my college roommates, each of whom found their life partners during our time in school. Set in the suburban landscape of 2024 Cleveland, Ohio, this narrative, though loosely rooted in real-life friendships, takes creative liberties to portray a young woman's journey of self-discovery and romantic pursuit amidst a backdrop of friends who have transitioned into various stages of adulthood. Designed as a single-camera, 30-minute, sitcom, My Married Friends attempts to uncover Isla's truth as she hilariously navigates single life in her 20s, while surrounded by friends who are getting married, buying houses, having babies, and of course, simultaneously trying to embrace their youth." -- Abstract
