Overview

"Two Headed Animals is a 32-minute film about youth, loss, the cruelty of moving on, and the strange shapes we have to make in love with one another, over and over, no matter how painful. A young woman dreams of running away to a perfect future with her girlfriend–when it all goes horribly wrong on a dark highway, she enters the terrifying real world, and the life of another desperate stranger, in one infinite NJ night. It is also an attempt to make and market a space in between features and shorts, called Flash Features, to try to create a substantive space for independent filmmakers to make more ambitious and artistically inventive works, without having to conform to the length requirements of shorts or features. I will attempt to find a life and revenue for it online, rather than through festival distribution." -- Abstract
