Overview

"As a senior at Morgan University, Grace Huang often feels more comfortable with the paintings than with her classmates. When she sneaks into a party thrown by the distinguished Emrys School of Art, she finds a grisly tableau: a portrait that screams while its subject is bleeding to death. When Grace is invited to join the Emrys School of Art, she can’t refuse. She finds a place to belong with fellow students and artists. As Grace digs into the Emrys School, she uncovers the secrets of magic and immortality that put her in crosshairs both of the school and the murder investigation. But secrets are meant to be kept, and the Emrys School is determined to keep theirs at a price that will cost Grace more than their favor or her degree. Grace must decide how much she is willing to lose to belong to something bigger than herself." -- Abstract
