Overview

"Jynxed: The Revenant is the first novel of a trilogy which details a teenage girl's journey coming to terms with the Jynx, a rare type of magic responsible for the thousands killed the very day she was born. Sole living Jynx Jackie Krowley is released after a life incarcerated, now under the protection of Title Eighty-Three per her dead parents' wishes, arguing the autonomy of Jynxed individuals. The majority of New Hampshire's magical community opposes this decision, and a people's party becomes violent in their determination to suppress the Jynx, regardless of her control. This project covers the first fifteen chapters of the novel, from the dawn of Jackie's release to her escape from her supervised lodgings to a freedom she isn't sure she wants; her first disobedient act in order to protect her only friend from the truth--that she is responsible for the death of his parents." -- Abstract
