Overview

"Fist Fight in the Christ Factory uses the themes and imagery of the pop surrealist visual arts movement, monster movies, science, science fiction, history, anarcho-punk culture, Brazilian culture, Saturday morning cartoons, and Florida back woods swamp country sentiments to explore intersectionality through poetry. Rooted in the statelessness of the immigrant experience, the poems move towards an exploration of faith and reprobation in search of grace. The poems use these themes and images to stitch a narrative from perspectives and characters that come from unlike worlds." --Abstract.
