Overview

"Midnight Dreamer is a Young Adult Fantasy novel with series potential. It centers around a female protagonist named Aurelia, who is coming of age. Aurelia fights to right the wrongs in the Kingdom of Eleverie, through means of deception as a thief. The power-hungry King violently executes anyone with magical abilities, which puts Aurelia and her sister at risk. In order to protect her sister from the inside, Aurelia must become a Royal Guard initiate. Meanwhile, Will Andrews, a dangerously handsome Royal Guard initiate, wants to prove himself to his father. Told from alternating points of view, Aurelia plays a dangerous game. She competes against Will to become a Royal Guard by day, and entangles with him as a thief by night. As Aurelia struggles to protect those in need, the line between good and evil becomes blurred." -- Abstract
