Overview

"May and June is a novel about twin sisters visiting their recently divorced father in the small town of Comfort, Virginia. Unfortunately, things in Comfort aren't what they appear. After accepting an invitation to a party with local students, the girls stumble upon a coven of witches sacrificing young women in the woods. When they are caught watching, May is given an ultimatum: provide a new sacrifice before the next full moon or her sister June will be next. May is forced into a moral dilemma: should she be complicit in the murder of an innocent person, or should she do anything she can to save her sister and her family? While under the watchful eyes of her parents, May tries to figure out a way she and June will both be able to make it out of the situation alive." -- Abstract
