Overview

"The Best of My Love presents a drama/comedy feature-length script that explores the joys and challenges of maintaining a relationship between mother and daughter. Elizabeth, an actor who's just been nominated for her first Academy award, struggles to find her place both in the Hollywood industry and in life. Returning home to celebrate her parents' 30th anniversary, Elizabeth finds hope and healing through recounting stories of her mother, Joey's journey to finding love and hope in the bond with her daughter. Combining present-day action and important events from the 1970s onward, they story showcases how the events of one life heavily impact the next descendant and how sometimes what blocks us can be healed by a second look at the journey and people that shaped us." -- Abstract
