Overview

"'The Divorce Ranch' and 'All Turned Out' are two television pilots that are united by their exploration of the complexities of female friendship and camaraderie. While they are near opposites in tone and aesthetic, they are a reflection of my intention as a writer, which is to be vehicle for women's voices and stories. In two very different ways, these scripts ask questions about the ways in which women have the power to hurt and heal each other as we navigate our common experiences. Each features a pair of female leads whose relationship is antagonistic to start, but will eventually grow into one of mutual respect and reverence. The themes of each script implore women to uplift other women, as a means of uplifting ourselves." -- Abstract
