Overview

"Dulce Muerte is a horror novel with supernatural elements set along the United States-Mexico border. It follows a young woman named Canela, who aspires to study forensic science, so she can help solve the rising number of femicides that plague her community. Her best friend's disappearance emboldens her to face her fears and make Death her best friend. This is a story about survival in the face of systemic gender inequality." -- Abstract
