Overview

"Freedom fighters across the realm of Grimmrverold fight for justice and compete for the Crimson Crown. The Zaethials of Dragon-Scale have begun to take power for themselves by pursuing the Crimson Crown. The only one who could have prevented it was the wood-elf, Taurin Greenkeep. But because Taurin did not destroy the Crown, the Zaethials' tyrannical young queen, Anarlion who is also a Boston teenager named Gaby Dracon, is in hot pursuit. The knights of the Argent Code and the king in exile, Athelstan Westfield, must help Taurin finish the affair he started. The novel could be the start of an epic fantasy series: Warrior Without Hope. I've been referring to the excerpt as The Crimson Crown, the first in the series, and created a new world that explores the corrupting influence of power, the evils of racism, speaking out against sexual violence and finding one's own voice." -- Abstract
