Scope and Contents

This series is comprised of writings about Gilbert and Sullivan and their operas, including radio scripts, articles, and incomplete biographies. The bulk of the series contains typewritten articles by George H. Atkinson, and includes radio scripts, reviews, and articles for the "Gilbert and Sullivan Reader". Included is a short article on movie productions of Gilbert and Sullivan operas by Isaac Goldberg, and an unidentified history of the D'Oyly Carte Company. Most of the writings are undated.
