Alumni Memorabilia Collection
Scope and Contents
The collection consists of books, student publications, event programs, newspaper clippings, photographs, diplomas, scrapbooks, letters, class notes, commencement programs, and ephemera donated by Emerson alumni/alumnae. The ephemera include class rings, pennants, banners, beanies, dance cards, paddles, glassware, and clothing.
The books are primarily ones that were used for teaching and include some written by Charles Wesley Emerson, the founder and first president of Emerson College.
There are additional boxes in this collection which will be added in the future.

Conditions Governing Access
Some items may be restricted due to FERPA and intellectual property laws. Access to the items during the life of the creator requires written permission from the creator(s) or an applicable FERPA exception. Upon the death of the creator(s), items may be viewed in the research room. Contact the Emerson College Archives & Special Collections for more information about accessing materials.
