1 black and red couture hat, 1960s
Scope and Contents
"I have also included a very high end couture hat from a London shop that was given to me as a 'thank you' gift by Marty Feldman ('Young Frankenstein') and his wife Lauretta who stayed in my house on their first visit to the States when he first became famous in the U.S. He and Lauretta were VERY close friends. The hat which is in two parts, is a knockout, reflective of the design of the times ... late 60s. Marty said he took one look at it and knew it was 'Me'." -Sylvia Lewis
