Scope and Contents
This first series titled Emerson College contains items pertaining to the 32 years that Stein taught students in the Drama Department and encompass the years 1948-1991. Many photographs and negatives of Emerson theatrical stage productions and makeup classes taught by Stein as well as classroom materials such as syllabi, outlines, and worksheets are included this series. Other materials consists of several theater programs from productions put on by Emerson College and Emerson newspaper and newsletter publications ranging from 1926 to 1987, and the personal and professional correspondence of Stein himself.
