Leona Powers
Scope and Contents
This series contains materials related to Heinlen's personal acquaintances and interests in theater rather than his work directly. This includes photographs of productions with which he was not involved professionally; photographs of actors or other individuals involved with theater, some of them signed; and newspaper clippings or manuscripts of interviews concerning personal acquaintances such as Richard Barr and Edward Albee.
Some materials are indirectly related to Heinlen's work, such as photographs or articles about people he previously worked with. Also included are snapshots of the damaged posters for the productions that he represented and his press release that became the inspiration for the Golden Globes.
