About Archives Space at Emerson

Emerson College Archives & Special Collections (ECASC) is home to a wealth of historical materials to enrich your research and educational projects. Our collections come in many forms and cover a variety of topics, with a focus on the history of the College and subjects that complement the College curriculum, such as theater, journalism, comedy, and communication disorders. Whether you are writing an essay for a class, creating promotional materials for your department, or publishing a book on a historical topic, our collections can provide valuable information.

Archives Space is dedicated to our college and special collection records and finding aids. This site contains the historical records and objects from Emerson College, including its academic departments, centers, and administrative units. The Archives also hold materials created by student groups as well as affiliated organizations including Ploughshares, and the Colonial, Paramount, and Cutler-Majestic theatres. In addition, it contains special collection records from non-Emerson individuals, groups, and organizations documenting the radio, television, film and performing arts industries.
